"Count it all joy!"
Life is full of unexpected surprises, some good, some not-so-good. When things don't go the way I planned, something I'm trying to do more of is tell myself to count it all joy.
Doing this works the highest degree of patience in me, and I must be honest, it's not always easy to do. But I'm trying to make joy my standard habitual response to things that don't go according to plan, or when unexpected problems arise. The more I do this, the less overwhelmed and stressed I tend to feel during the day.
